This learning is for front line workers who want to learn more about young carers. There are 105,000 young carers in NSW. That’s at least one in every classroom.
This eLearning tool has been developed to help front line workers (and their managers) to be able to identify and support young carers. It will explain who young carers are, the kinds of things they do and the impact being a young carer can have on a child or young person.

It should take around 30 minutes to complete but you don’t need to finish it in one go.

Once you successfully finish the eLearning, you will receive a certificate of completion.

There are also resources and links that provide information about young carers and some of the services available to them in NSW.
Note: If you are a young carer, visit the Carers NSW Young Carer Program website for information specifically for you.
