DoCS Connect​ OOHC MDS is an online reporting portal for NGO OOHC service providers. The course is broken into 7 separate modules including overview, navigation, registration, placements, placement updates, exits and a final assessment component.

For new users of the DoCS Connect portal, this is a mandatory course and the assessment component must be successfully completed before access to the DoCS Connect portal will be authorised. Upon successful completion of this course you will be issued with a certificate of completion.

For existing DoCS Connect users these modules can be used to refresh your knowledge.

PLEASE NOTE: Completing all modules will take between 60 and 75 minutes. Please ensure you allow sufficient time, or complete in short intervals

Module 1 – Course Introduction and Overview

Running Time: 4-5 mins

A description of the online course structure and brief overview of the DoCS Connect portal.

Module 2 – Navigation

Running Time: 8 mins

This module identifies the key navigation elements of DoCS Connect, to enable proficient movement through the portal.

Module 3 – Registration

Running Time: 12 mins

This module describes and demonstrates the process of registering carers, children & young people, and/or facilities in DoCS Connect.

Module 4 – Placements

Running Time: 18 mins

This course describes and demonstrates the process creating placements in DoCS Connect.

Module 5 – Placement Updates

Running Time: 13 mins

This module describes and demonstrates the requirements for service providers to conduct placement updates in DoCS Connect.

Module 6 – Placement Exits

Running Time: 7 mins

This module describes and demonstrates the process for exiting children or young people from your service in DoCS Connect.

Module 7 – Final Assessment

This module is mandatory for first time users of DoCS Connect. Upon successful completion of the quiz you will be issued with a certificate of completion. (running time 5 mins approx)
